All Signs Signal New Roundabout for West Main Street

Vol. IV. No. 55 - Pretty much everything has been said and done at this point

Troy City Council’s Committee of the Whole took its clearest step yet toward a final decision on the West Main Street intersection redesign, with a straw poll at their July 13th meeting showing a working majority leaning toward the roundabout option over a signalized alternative.

Nothing was formally adopted, but after years of informal discussions, feasibility studies, public meetings, and engineering presentations, this was the first time this council actually took a collective position rather than simply absorbing information.
