State Representative Jena Powell bows out of re-election race

According to information from the Miami County Board of Elections website posted earlier this afternoon, incumbent State Representative Jena Powell has ended her bid for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives in House District 80, which comprises all of Miami County and a portion of Darke County.

Representative Powell was first elected in 2018 winning the Republican Primary in a four-way contest with 45% of the vote. She was elected later that fall in the General Election by a 73% to 27% margin.
