In the last City Council packet, it was announced that Troy’s Fire Chief, Matt Simmons, will retire on January 11, 2027 after 28 years of service and Troy’s Wastewater Superintendent, Ken Parks, will retire on January 31, 2027.
Those aren’t the only retirements in 2027.
According to sources that wish to remain anonymous, the Mayor announced to City Council that Patrick Titterington, the City’s Service and Safety Director will retire on February 5, 2027, a tenure of over twenty years as the city’s Service and Safety Director.
In the same announcement, the Mayor announced that she will not run for re-election for Mayor in 2027, but has indicated that she will appoint the next Service and Safety Director for the community.
