This past Wednesday, the City’s Planning Commission met to continue wading through the proposed Unified Development Code — the master document that will regulate signs, subdivisions, and zoning for at least a generation.

In the first draft, the language on data centers was thin. That was a problem in a county where data centers have quickly become a hot topic and a flash point. The new regulations now on the table are a step in the right direction.
