After a hiatus of a few months, the Troy Police Department has resumed putting out a report showing how the Flock Camera System has been used to combat crime in the community. This publication is thrilled since this feature has been one of the most popular posts in this publication.
This past week, the Police Department released the following information for the use of the system in March.
On March 1st, the Flock Camera System was used to recover the theft of a motor vehicle from a business on Marybill Drive. Charges were filed against a person for receiving stolen property, and the vehicle was recovered in Huber Heights.
On March 9th, the system was used to locate a vehicle that fled the scene of a crash at the Taco Bell on West Main Street
On March 11th, the Flock Camera system was sued to track down a stolen trailer from a business on Experiment Farm Road. Leads have been developed, but the trailer has still not been found.
Flock Camera were used to find and arrest a subject related to the theft of a motor vehicle from a business in Troy that occurred on March 22.
On March 23rd, the system was used to identify the vehicle driven by a person that tried to pick up money under false pretenses from a business in Troy.
On March 27th, Sheriff's Deputies searching for a subject with warrants for domestic violence and violation of a protection order used Troy’s camera to locate and arrest the subject.
