Sunday Special: A Dam Removal Presentation Takes Center Stage
A Representative from United States Fish and Wildlife Service is to give an update
Back in September, this publication spent two issues discussing in depth about a grant request the City Administration was making for the installation of the a new recreational trail on the south side of the Great Miami River.
At both the committee meeting and the council meeting that discussed the grant funding for this trail, multiple residents came forward and expressed their concerns not only with the trail, but the entire dam removal project, as a whole. As a result, there was a request to have the United States Fish and Wildlife Service come and provide an update to the dam removal project and that update will be occuring at the next City Council meeting.
A United States Fish and Wildlife Service representative will be at the City Council meeting on Monday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. to update the community on the project. As with all public meetings, the public is invited to attend.
