The Civic Capacity Countdown - #3: The Generation Gap
Over time, places often change. And many times those changes can be attributed to the demographic shifts that take place not only across cultures, but can also be seen across communities.
And one of the fascinating aspects about demographics, is that they are never static. The people that make up our community is one of the most dynamic aspects of community life we could ever see.
This publication took a look at how those generations acted in last year’s Mayor election, as we had a solid member of the Baby Boomer generation be challenged by a member of Generation X.
And how people voted along with their neighbors showed some interesting trends as we look at how demographics are paying a role in our community today.
Our eighth installment in our countdown comes from last June. Just two more days until Civic Capacity hits our First Anniversary!
