Given the typical resident’s experience with roundabouts, it’s not surprising that the public response to a new one at West Main Street and Experiment Farm has been less than enthusiastic. If we actually asked residents what they think, we’d probably find that most people are not intimidated by well‑thought‑out, properly sized roundabouts. What they have are serious, concrete concerns about this roundabout, at this location, at this moment.
