Three Years In: What We Built Together
Three years ago today, I hit publish on the first edition of Civic Capacity and waited. That first day, two hundred people took the time to read a few words outlining an ambitious, but vague idea, a newsletter talking about local government decisions and how they impact our communities. I remember thinking that was either a great start or a quiet warning that nobody actually wanted to read about zoning variances and budget line items. Turns out, they did.
