It was a cool, rainy morning on September 26, 2012. Fall had just settled in over Piqua when I pulled into the parking lot of the old Piqua Memorial Medical Center on Park Avenue. It was just before 9:00 a.m. A few neighbors from the surrounding blocks were already there, standing in the drizzle, waiting to see something they weren’t sure they’d ever actually see.
