Citizen journalism is now the norm, and the "boots on the ground " viewpoint is what the public looks to, without spin or bias. Your publication increases the civic capacity of not just Miami County, but everyone who reads your effort. I have seen communities that have low civic capacity, and they drift along. There are few things worse. You are lighting a fire for not just yours, but many communities to govern themselves better. So...congratulations!
